Dr. K.M. Bhandari ,Managing director , Bhandari Hospital & Research Centre is a general surgeon by profession yet a visionary by choice. Dr. Bhandari’s vision encompasses his social consciousness directed towards the health issues of the society. Realizing the pace of development of newer equipments & techniques in the field of surgery, Dr. Bhandari opted to be the first in the state to adopt them & pass on the benefit to needy population at the affordable charges. Few initiatives in this direction include, introduction of Laparoscopic Surgery in 1992, Dornier Lithotripsy for non-surgical   treatment of stone in the year 1998, Holmium Yag Laser , introduced in the year 2000 in general surgery, gastroenterology, urology, gynecology and neurosurgery for Laser ablation to minimize blood loss and enhance precision. The   mobile Urology Van was introduced in 2008 to deliver advanced urology facility along with lithotripsy facility to rural population at their door step.

Bhandari Hospital & Research Centre is most suitably located at Gopalpura Road and is conveniently accessible by personal as well as public transport. This 125 bedded multi-specialty hospital boasts of its ultra latest infrastructure for diagnoses and treatment of various disease conditions. The hospital has three Modular Operation Theater with latest equipments to offer least invasive surgery facility. The ten bedded I.C.U. and Five bedded NICU are also equipped with latest equipments, machines and electronic monitor devices to provide best critical care and life support. Bhandari Hospital & Research Centre is having advanced facility for stone treatment which includes Dornier Lithotripsy machine and a Mobile Urology Van to extend latest treatment facility to rural population at their doorsteps. To cater to the health need of various economic section of society the hospital offers indoor treatment facility in general wards, semi deluxe wards, deluxe wards, super deluxe wards and suit class rooms. Ambulance, Pharmacy, Telephone both, Cafeteria and similar basic facilities are also available.
